Lead Driver

Are you an experienced multi-drop driver with a CPC licence, ready to step into a lead role? This is a permanent opportunity for a Lead Driver, combining hands-on deliveries with team support and operational responsibility.

The Role:
You’ll take ownership on the road, ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently while supporting the wider driver team. This is a key position where you’ll lead by example and step into senior responsibilities as required.

Key Duties:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to a high standard
• Acting as a lead figure for drivers on shift
• Providing excellent customer service
• Manual handling (items averaging around 15kg)
• Ensuring all paperwork and compliance checks are completed accurately
• Supporting driver performance and addressing on-the-road issues
• Liaising with management to maintain smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For:

• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
• 7.5T or Class 2 licence
• Valid CPC qualification
• Strong multi-drop delivery experience
• Confident supporting and guiding other drivers
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
• Ability to make decisions and resolve issues quickly
• Good understanding of health & safety in delivery environments
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
