LCDAE / CDAE Engineer — 1-year contractLocation: St Austell, Cornwall (with travel elsewhere as required)Salary: £500 - £550 / day • Inside IR35Responsibilities
Lead large-scale design projects, overseeing all phases from FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) to project closeout.Manage projects from start to finish, acting as a key point of contact for stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.Lead contract negotiations, actively pursue new business opportunities, and manage subcontractors.Lead engineering design efforts across the UK business, drive strategic development of the department, and contribute to business planning.Act as principal designer representative (PD Rep).Qualifications
Signed off as an LCDAE or CDAE.Degree qualified in the relevant discipline with design management experience.Advanced understanding of UK CDM Regulations and different forms of contracts such as NEC and FIDIC.Experience managing multiple high-value, complex projects, including working on National Grid Electricity Transmission projects.Equal opportunities
