LCDAE / CDAE Engineer
– 1-year contract – St Austell, Cornwall (with travel elsewhere as required) – £500 – £550 / day – Inside IR35Responsibilities
Lead large-scale design projects, overseeing all phases from FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) to project closeout. Manage projects from start to finish, act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. Lead contract negotiations, pursue new business opportunities, manage subcontractors, lead engineering design efforts across the UK business, drive strategic development of the department and contribute to business planning, and act as principal designer representative (PD Rep).Qualifications
The successful candidate will have been signed off as an LCDAE or CDAE, be degree qualified in the relevant discipline with design management experience, have an advanced understanding of UK CDM Regulations and different forms of contracts such as NEC and FIDIC, and have experience managing multiple high-value, complex projects, including working on National Grid Electricity Transmission projects.Equal Opportunity
