Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Gardener-to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our outdoor spaces.

We''re looking for someone with a strong background in groundskeeping, with a passion for gardening and landscape maintenance.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are well-kept, safe, and visually appealing.

Duties

• Perform general groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to maintain landscapes and gardens.
• Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other outdoor structures as needed.
• Irrigate plants and ensure proper watering techniques are followed to promote healthy growth.
• Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards.
• Maintain equipment in good working order through routine checks and minor repairs.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow clearing, and planting seasonal flowers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in grounds keeping or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various power tools and equipment safely.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail with a keen eye for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in outdoor spaces.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
