The role
As Land Buyer, you''ll be responsible for identifying and securing new land opportunities, supporting the wider land and planning teams, and helping to maintain a strong pipeline of development sites. You''ll work across the full acquisition process, from initial search through to internal approval.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sourcing and appraising both short-term and strategic land opportunities

• Managing the land acquisition process with internal teams

• Building strong relationships with agents and landowners

• Preparing development appraisals and viability assessments

• Undertaking market research to support acquisition decisions

• Writing reports and presenting sites for internal sign-off

• Maintaining high standards of professionalism with all external contacts

What we''re looking for:

• Experience in land buying or a related role in residential development

• Good understanding of planning processes and development appraisals

• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

• Relevant degree (or equivalent) in property, planning, or a related field

• IT literate (particularly Microsoft Office)

• Full UK driving licence

• Proactive, commercially focused, and able to work independently
