About the Role
Based in Borehamwood, this permanent Lab Technician role centres on equipment calibration within an engineering team serving electronic and electrical sectors. The successful candidate will inspect, maintain and functionally test scientific apparatus and accessories, carrying out calibration to set procedures and verifying software or firmware versions. Work involves preparing instruments, confirming they satisfy quality and safety criteria, then returning them to customers. A diploma or degree in electronics, electrical engineering, ICT or a comparable technical subject is sought, alongside prior experience in a laboratory, calibration or electronics setting. Salary ranges from £28,000 to £42,000 per annum. Standard weekday hours apply, with strong attention to detail, methodical record-keeping and sound fault-finding abilities essential.
Lab Technician required to join an engineering team who focus on electronic, electrical engineering and calibration of scientific laboratory equipment.

Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, ICT or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience in a technical laboratory, calibration or electronics environment.
Responsibilities
