Chemistry Lab Technician

This Brigg Scientific client are a Chemical Manufacturer in Birmingham and they are looking for a Lab Technician to support their Analytical testing team, for both QC, RandD and Customer Support. Key duties: Wet Chemistry Analysis involving titration, pH testing, moisture and conductivity. Bespoke testing specific to manufactured products Sample preparation for further HPLC analysis Accurate record keeping Responsibility for testing sign off. General Lab stewardship Following regulated quality systems Successful candidates will have a background in Scientific education or work experience. Applications are welcomes from recent graduates or those with work experience in the Sciences. Those with Chemistry focused degrees/experience will have a distinct advantage. This is a contract role running for 14 months to cover a Maternity leave. Rate of pay will be 12.99/hr for a 37 hour week. Equivalent salary of circa 25,000.
