Help Young People Re-Engage with Learning

We''re looking for a KS3 Tutor to support children and young people across the BCP area through personalised 1:1 tuition.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you''ll provide tailored educational support to learners in Key Stage 3 who require alternative provision. Many of the students we support have experienced barriers to education and benefit from a flexible, supportive approach that helps build confidence, improve engagement, and encourage academic progress.

This is a fantastic opportunity for education professionals who enjoy working closely with learners and adapting their approach to meet individual needs.

• Hours: Flexible
• Pay Rate: -2530 per hour
• Type: 1:1 Tuition

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months'' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, mentoring, learning support, or similar roles
• Experience supporting secondary-aged learners
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 curriculum
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across the BCP area
