KS3 Tutor

We are seeking a KS3 tutor to support a Year 9 student who is currently re-engaging with education following an extended period out of school.Student Profile:Year 9 studentDiagnosed with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)Has been out of education for approximately one yearCurrently working below age-related expectations due to significant gaps in learningRequires support in English and MathsTutor Requirements:Minimum of 6 months'' experience working within education, childcare, or a related settingExperience supporting children and young people with additional needs, including ADHD and ASDAbility to deliver a trauma-informed approach to learningConfident in conducting baseline assessments to identify existing skills and gaps in knowledgeAble to develop and implement personalised learning programmes to support academic progressProvision Details:Up to 15 hours per weekInitial sessions should be relationship-focused, prioritising trust, engagement, and emotional wellbeingAcademic tuition should be introduced at a pace appropriate to the student, following the successful establishment of a positive working relationshipWe are looking for a patient, nurturing, and adaptable tutor who can support the student to rebuild confidence in learning and make sustained progress towards academic and personal outcomes.Please get in touch if you are interested or would like further information. ..... full job details .....
