We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated KS1 Learning Support Assistant to join a warm and nurturing team. This rewarding role involves working closely with the class teacher and supporting children in Key Stage 1andmdash;both in small groups and on a 1:1 basisandmdash;to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Who are you£


  • Has experience working with primary-aged children (experience with KS1 or SEN is a bonus!)
  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification (e.g. in Childcare, Teaching Assistance etc)
  • Are patient, kind, and genuinely enthusiastic about childrenandrsquo;s education
  • Have excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Key Responsibilities:


  • Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils in class and in small group or 1:1 interventions
  • Supporting childrenandrsquo;s academic, emotional, and social development
  • Helping to create an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Encouraging independence and building confidence in our learners
  • Assisting with classroom routines, behaviour support, and personalised learning plans
