Kitchen Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to join our team and support the smooth running of our busy kitchen operation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high food standards and working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in Japanese or Asian cuisine is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and support the Kitchen Manager.
• Lead and motivate the kitchen team during busy periods.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures are followed.
• Monitor stock levels, ordering and food waste.
• Support staff rotas and daily team allocation.
• Train and coach team members on kitchen procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen.
• Address operational issues and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Ensure Company policies and procedures are consistently followed.

About You

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Kitchen Team Leader, Sous Chef or similar.
• Experience supervising and supporting a kitchen team.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP.
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining high food quality and safety standards.
• Japanese or Asian cuisine experience is desirable but not essential.
