Kitchen Assistant

We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly school catering team in Hyde.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants part-time hours that fit around family or other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with food preparation and serving meals to pupils and staff
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen
• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
• Supporting the catering team during busy lunch periods
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times

What We''re Looking For:

• Previous kitchen, catering, or school catering experience is desirable
• A positive, hardworking attitude
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is advantageous (or willingness to obtain one) !!!!
