Overview
The roleUniversity of Bristol Students’ Health Service is a GP practice for University students and their dependents. We are looking to recruit a healthcare assistant (HCA) to work 2 days (14 hours) per week (Monday and Tuesday).We are a close and friendly primary care practice team that includes GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists, psychologists and other allied professionals at an award winning university health service. Situated within a purpose built practice in a beautiful setting.We would encourage a visit to the practice to meet the team prior to application.What will you be doing?As an HCA you will support the work of the clinical staff and have responsibility for a range of clinical and administrative duties.This will includeTaking observationsUrinalysisActing as a chaperone for coil clinicsOrdering medical supplierYou should apply ifYou are a highly motivated and enthusiastic health care assistant with experience in a Primary Care setting, ideally with a special interest in the health of young people.For more information about the role please refer to the job description attached.Additional informationWork pattern: Part time, 14 hours per weekGrade: DSchool/Unit: Education and student successThis advert will close
