The roleUniversity of Bristol Students’ Health Service is a GP practice for University students and their dependents. We are looking to recruit a healthcare assistant to work 3 days (21 hours) per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).We are a close and friendly primary care practice team that includes GPs, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, and other allied professionals at an award-winning university health service, situated within a purpose-built practice in a beautiful setting.We would encourage a visit to the practice to meet the team prior to application.What will you be doing?As an HCA, you will support the work of the clinical staff and have responsibility for a range of clinical and administrative duties, e.g., phlebotomy (taking blood), taking observations, urinalysis, acting as a chaperone for coil clinics, ordering medical supplies, and stocking up clinical rooms.You should apply ifYou are a highly motivated, enthusiastic Health Care Assistant with experience in a Primary Care setting, ideally with a special interest in the health of young people.Additional informationGrade: DSchool/Unit: Students Health ServiceShift pattern: Monday to Wednesday 8:00 am - 4:00 pmThis advert will close at 23:59 UK time on Tuesday 11th February.No. of Vacancies
