This position would suit an ambitious Health and Safety professional looking to take the next step in their career, gain further site-based experience and develop within an established health and safety team. You will receive support and mentoring from experienced health and safety professionals while gaining exposure to live construction and civil engineering projects. As Junior Health and Safety Advisor, you will: Assist with regular site inspections and health and safety audits. Support Site Managers and Project Managers with health and safety matters. Assist with the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements. Help monitor compliance with company procedures and legislation. Assist with toolbox talks, site briefings and safety campaigns. Support accident, incident and near-miss investigations. Help identify hazards and recommend suitable control measures. Assist with maintaining health and safety records and documentation. Monitor site standards and follow up on corrective actions.
