This is an ideal role for someone early in their marketing career who’s looking to learn fast and contribute directly to impact in a mission-driven organisation.Summary of the roleAs our Junior Growth Manager, you’ll play a foundational role in supporting Apolitical’s growth marketing efforts through disciplined experimentation, data-informed decision-making, and cross-functional execution.Your key focus will be to help us send high-quality, well-targeted email communications to a global audience.You’ll sit within the Growth team and collaborate regularly with Product, Events, Learning and Communications teams. You won’t need deep experience in marketing tech or email strategy to start, just strong attention to detail, an interest in audience communication, and a mindset for learning and improvement.Tasks and remitYou’ll be:Coordinating email schedules across teams to make sure campaigns go out on time and nothing is missedReviewing and proofreading emails for spelling, links, design and clarity, using QA checklists and toolsCurating user-generated content (like articles and community posts) for use in newsletters and learning emailsLearning to segment email lists and improve targeting over time, with support from the teamHelping publish content via our CMS (Contentful) and email tools (HubSpot, SuprSend)Using AI tools to edit, draft, and improve copy, and helping us test ways to automate routine email processesSupporting growth experiments and A/B tests to maximise the impact of email as a channelTracking performance metrics like open rates and click-throughs and sharing what you learn with the teamYou won’t be:Writing long-form marketing content or full campaigns from scratchWorking on social media marketingExpected to write HTMLRole expectationsWe’ll help you build confidence as a growth operator.
