OverviewA growing multi-strategy investment manager is looking to appoint a Junior Fund Accountant into a newly created role within their London finance team.

Reporting directly to an experienced Finance Director, this is a hands-on position offering strong mentorship, study support and a clear path to a qualified role. This is an opportunity to join a small, collaborative team where culture is a real selling point – supportive, sociable, and down-to-earth. You’ll gain broad exposure across the fund finance cycle and work closely with both the finance and investment teams in a visible and value-adding role.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of quarterly fund accounts

Production of investor reporting packs

Processing capital calls and distributions

Liaising with third parties including fund administrators

Calculating management fees

Analyzing fund performance

Supporting the investment team with deal structuring, closing, reporting, and compliance

Requirements

Studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent

Circa 1-2 years of experience in a junior accounting position. Prior fund accounting experience is highly preferred but not essential

Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and eagerness to learn

Compensation on offer is circa £35,000-45,000 with an annual discretionary bonus. Study support is provided with a generous wider benefits package.
