Junior Buyer

These could include; raising purchase orders, expediting, updating MRP/ERP systems with supplier information, lead times and pricing. The role would suit an experienced administrator or someone looking to develop their career within a purchasing or supply chain environment. Specific duties of the Junior Buyer include:Raising Purchase Orders for both direct materials and components for manufacturing and indirect itemsTrack orders, shipment dates and delivery confirmation in MRP systemsExpediting of purchase orders through to receiptSupplier liaison, communication and relationship building both with UK and international partnersSupport inbound logistics, supplier returns etc.Maintain procurement department data in MRP and reports/KPIs relating to supplier performanceWork with procurement team to improve and refine procurement processes Junior ..... full job details .....
