Junior Buyer

Amour Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a Junior Buyer, to join our long standing clients expanding team in Havant. In this new role, you''ll support the procurement function, in a fast paced manufacturing environment. This role fits between multiple departments, and you''ll act as a crucial team member ensuring that manufacturing teams have ample supply of materials/components. You''ll work with the support of dedicated experienced buyers, building your confidence and developing skills. Responsibilities: Placing and managing orders, monitoring supply and delivery schedules. Develop and maintain working relationships with core suppliers. Ensure accurate documentation, to ensure clear requirements, and reduce risk of discrepancy. Collaborate and communicate cross departmentally, to maintain clear communication channels. Requirements: Previous experience in buying or procurement, ideally within manufacturing. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication, both internally and externally. Experience across MRP/ERP systems is desirable. Experience in planning, scheduling and delivery tracking is desirable.
