IT Project Manager

Position Title: IT Project Manager Duration: Contract Location: Crewe, Cheshire Job Profile:Contechs are seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager with a background in Manufacturing and experience of delivering large scale infrastructure, networking and comms IT projects.The IT Project Manager will manage and coordinate the workstream delivery, ensuring robust detailed planning, risk/issue management, assurance, and governance. This position is pivotal in delivering a structured approach to delivery within the programme, maintaining high standards of reporting, quality, and meeting business objectives effectively. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and ManagementDevelop and maintain detailed epic plans managing critical pathCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure project activity tasks/deliverables are well-documented, prioritized, and understoodActively engage all stakeholders to drive the plan delivery, escalating where support is not received.Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right skills are available for each task. Governance ForumsEnsure governance forum input/outputs align to programme standards e.g. pre-reads issued in a timely manner, minutes distributed etc.Weekly highlight report completed by 5pm Wednesday to a high standard Risk and Issue ManagementProactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.Escalate unresolved issues to the Programme Manager or relevant stakeholdersDevelop ..... full job details .....
