Internal Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Manager to join our client, a leading supplier of construction consumables and equipment, supplying major contractors and national housebuilders across the UK. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys being at the centre of the action. You''ll remain actively involved in customer enquiries, quotations and problem solving while providing day-to-day support and guidance to a small Internal Sales team. The responsibilities of the Internal Sales Manager include but are not limited to the following: Manage inbound customer enquiries, providing quotations, product advice and a high level of customer service. Take ownership of complex and high-value enquiries, using commercial judgement to maximise sales opportunities while protecting margin. Proactively follow up quotations and customer enquiries to convert opportunities into orders and strengthen customer relationships. Build effective relationships with suppliers to source products, negotiate commercial terms and resolve customer issues. Lead, support and develop a small Internal Sales team, acting as a key point of contact for guidance, coaching and product knowledge.
