As an Internal Sales team member, you''ll be looking after a mixture of customers, getting to know them, understanding what they need and helping them find the right products. It''s varied, fast-moving and gives you plenty of opportunity to build relationships rather than simply processing orders all day.

What will you be doing as Internal Sales?
Working as part of a small and friendly team, you''ll be helping customers with their day-to-day requirements while developing strong, long-term relationships.
Your day could include:

• Speaking with existing and lapsed customers and building strong relationships
• Handling inbound enquiries and making outbound calls to customers
• Quoting customers and providing advice on products and availability
• Checking stock levels and suggesting alternative or additional products where appropriate
• Liaising with suppliers in the UK and overseas to obtain pricing and product information
• Working closely with customers and internal departments to resolve any order issues
• Keeping customer websites updated with the latest product range
• Monitoring customer spend and product trends

What are we looking for?
We''re more interested in your approach and personality than finding someone who ticks every single box.
You could be a great fit if you have:

• Experience in sales administration, account management, sales support, customer service or a similar role
• Office-based experience and a confident, friendly telephone manner
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and email
• A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
• The confidence to speak to customers and build rapport
• A genuine interest in understanding what customers need
