Internal Sales Engineer

Our client is an Engineering company based in the Salford area and they require an experienced Internal Sales Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. Key Accountabilities 1. Assist in the quoting and selling of motors and other rotating/control equipment, namely electric motors, pumps, gearboxes and geared motors, inverters and fans as part of the motor sales department. 2. Complete the daily paperwork as required in the department, including but not limited to job paperwork, the daily spreadsheet and quotations. 3. Manage electric motor stock and be responsible for the motor stock check at the end of each 4 week period or other times as required. 4. Manage, and carry out if necessary, the feedback following job quotations for the sales department, including calling customers for quote progress. 5. Assist in fulfilling orders for the sales website. 6. Liaise with suppliers to get the best possible terms on motors and other items sold. Find new suppliers in order to improve terms. 7. Provide support to the sales and other departments when necessary. 9. Provide out of hours support via mobile phone, answering new motor queries from the workshop this is not expected to be onerous but is expected while you are not on holiday.
