Interim Project Accountant

Key responsibilitiesManage the financial aspects of projects from initiation through to completionProvide project accounting support, including budgeting, cost tracking, and reportingPrepare and support basic monthly management accounts and variance analysisAssist with budget monitoring and financial performance reportingIdentify and implement process improvements within finance operationsWork closely with senior finance leadership to support financial controls and reportingCandidate profileQualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)Experience in project accounting, ideally managing projects end-to-endExperience preparing management accounts and financial reportingStrong process improvement mindset with a methodical approachComfortable operating in an interim, hands-on environmentDesirableExperience within charity, higher education, or not-for-profit organisationsFamiliarity with restricted funding or grant-based environmentsContract detailsDuration: 3-6 monthsLocation: Oxford (some on-site presence expected)Start: As soon as ..... full job details .....
