Interim Payroll Officer Location: London (1-2 days per week onsite required)Start Date: Within the next 2 weeksDuration: 3 - 6 months initiallyRate: Up to 250 per day, depending on experiencePotential: Opportunity to convert to a permanent appointment The Role Working as part of a small payroll function, you will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll across a complex and diverse workforce. Payroll activities include:Processing monthly payroll from start to finishVariable hours and relief workersOvertime and enhancementsSleep-in paymentsSickness and absence-related paymentsSalary sacrifice schemes and employee benefitsMultiple terms and conditions of employmentPension administration and auto-enrolmentHMRC submissions and compliancePayroll reconciliations and checkingResponding to payroll queries from employees and managersMaintaining accurate payroll records and supporting payroll reportingAbout You We''re keen to hear from payroll professionals who can demonstrate:Solid end-to-end payroll processing experienceExperience working with complex payrolls and multiple employee groupsStrong working knowledge of payroll legislation, HMRC requirements and pensions administrationExperience within the charity, not-for-profit, social care, healthcare or wider public sector environments would be advantageousExperience processing variable pay, overtime, enhancements and absence-related paymentsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to ..... full job details .....
