Interim Management Accountant

This role is ideal for a part-qualified accountant looking to develop their expertise in a busy environment. Based in Wakefield, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations. Client Details A reputable and growing Wakefield-based organisation with a strong market presence. The business operates in a fast-paced environment and has a well-established finance function supporting multiple areas of the company. Description Preparation of monthly management accounts Month-end close activities including journals, accruals and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes Producing financial reports and supporting commentary for stakeholders Supporting cashflow reporting and forecasting Business partnering with operational teams across the business Identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies Supporting ad-hoc finance projects as required Profile Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience Previous experience within a Management Accountant role Strong month-end accounting experience Confident working with large volumes of data and Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Able to work independently and hit the ground running Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Job Offer 3-6 month interim assignment.
