Interim Management Accountant

This role is ideal for a part-qualified accountant looking to develop their expertise in a busy environment. Based in Wakefield, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations.

Description

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Month-end close activities including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Producing financial reports and supporting commentary for stakeholders
• Supporting cashflow reporting and forecasting
• Business partnering with operational teams across the business
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies
• Supporting ad-hoc finance projects as required

Profile

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience
• Previous experience within a Management Accountant role
• Strong month-end accounting experience
• Confident working with large volumes of data and Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
