Interim HR Officer
HR Officer 6-Month FTC Darlington £30-35k Immediate StartThis is a great opportunity to join a supportive HR team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, leading a focused piece of project work to refresh and modernise HR policies and rationalise the HR folder and file structure so that it works for the way the team operates today.Working alongside the HR Advisor and reporting to the Head of HR, you''ll also provide support across employee relations casework, preparing case packs, taking notes and supporting absence and performance cases and act as the first point of contact for incoming HR queries, triaging and signposting as appropriate.If you love the detail, take pride in well-organised documentation and have a strong working knowledge of UK employment law and how it shapes policy and process, this role offers real scope to make a positive impact.You''ll bring:Recent HR experience across the employee lifecycle - employee relations, absence and performanceStrong working knowledge of UK employment law and its impact on policy and processProven experience reviewing, drafting and updating HR policies in plain EnglishExcellent attention to detail and strong organisational skillsConfident communication and discretion with sensitive informationMicrosoft 365 (including Copilot) (experience with HiBob or Callidus would be a real advantage)Active CIPD membershipThe details:6-month FTC, full-timeSite-based in Darlington£30,000 - £35,000Immediate start availableWe''d love to hear from you ..... full job details .....
