This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the safety and operational integrity of a vibrant academic community.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all fire safety contractors, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulations.Conduct regular fire risk assessments, review safety documentation, and monitor remedial actions.Maintain and test fire alarm, detection, and emergency lighting systems, ensuring ongoing operational readiness.Organise and lead fire drills and emergency response exercises, including training fire wardens.Keep detailed records of fire safety audits, inspections, and safety improvements.Requirements:NEBOSH Fire and Safety qualification or equivalent (or willing to attain).Proven experience in fire safety management within complex or historic building environments.Strong organisational skills and an ability to liaise effectively with contractors and internal teams.Knowledge of relevant fire safety legislation and best practices.This is an excellent opportunity to work within a prestigious, safety-conscious environment that values professional development and community safety.For more ..... full job details .....
