Interim Finance and Transformation Recruitment — Our client is a trading business growing organically and through acquisition. They need an Interim Financial Reporting Manager for 6 months to help deliver the client’s audit, as well as other ad hoc projects to help facilitate the continued growth of the business.Key Responsibilities

Preparation of financial reporting statements in Excel, Word, and financial systems under both US GAAP and consolidated UK GAAP and other regional GAAPsConsolidation of financial statements at entity and group level, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Liaison with external auditors and tax consultants, ensuring smooth audit processes and compliance with statutory reporting deadlines.Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly management packs with detailed analysis and commentary.Leverage consolidation and reporting tools to streamline reporting processes.Enhance internal controls, reporting systems, and financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.Drive improvements to financial reporting systems, controls, and processes.Undertake ad hoc assignments such as technical accounting projects, acquisition accounting, or regulatory submissions.The ideal person will be/have

Strong financial reporting experience, ideally with a strong understanding of financial instruments (hedging, derivatives, etc.)Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA, CA or ACCA)Strong knowledge and practical experience of US GAAP and UK GAAP and IFRSExperience preparing consolidated accounts and statutory financial statementsProven track record of audit delivery, liaising with auditors, regulators, and tax specialistsAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency in Word; experience with reporting and consolidation systems.Based in central London, they operate a hybrid working structure, with three days per week required in the office.This is an immediate start and only people on two weeks’ notice or less will be considered. The contract length is 6 months and has a salary of £80-90k FTC, pro rated.Job details
