Interim Financial Controller

This role is responsible for supporting the strategic need to be financially sustainable by creating and managing the financial control environment, as well as ensuring that all financial information and reporting produced is accurate, timely and relevant in order to ensure decision making is as robust as it can be.Client DetailsThis not-for-profit organisation operates within the public sector and is recognised for its commitment to supporting its community. As a medium-sized organisation, it provides a structured yet collaborative work environment.DescriptionThe key responsibilities within this role:Monthly management accounts to year end standard (IandE, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Capex) including supporting commentary and variance analysisAssisting the leadership team in preparing budgets and forecasts, including the annual 5-year financial planDeliver accurate, complete and timely statutory returns (ensuring consistency across them) Deliver monthly forward-looking cash flow forecasts to support decision making and statutory reporting Actively manage the treasury resourcesOversight of monthly processes and actions to ensure strong debt management process are being adhered to and support by associated analysis and reporting Oversight of monthly processes and actions to ensure strong P2P environment and effective delivery of creditors ledgerBe responsible for the creating and maintaining a robust financial control environmentEnsure that appropriate financial regulations and ..... full job details .....
