Interim Financial Controller

Robert Half are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a large, complex organisation on an interim basis. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for the financial control environment, statutory reporting, treasury management, and leading the finance team across management accounts and financial servicesJob Title: Financial Controller (Interim)Employment Type: Contract / TemporaryLocation: BathSalary: £350 per day (via Umbrella Company)Hours: 3 days per week in the office 2 from homeDuration: 3-6 months (with potential to extend)Key Responsibilities:Financial Strategy and ReportingDeliver monthly management accounts to year-end standard (PandL, cash flow, balance sheet, capex)Support financial planning and forecasting, including multi-year budget scenariosProvide variance analysis and supporting commentary for senior stakeholdersStatutory Reporting and TreasuryDeliver statutory returns (e.g. TRAC, AFR, year-end financial statements)Manage treasury resources in line with organisational policyDeliver forward-looking cash flow forecastsTeam LeadershipLine manage direct reports in Finance Services, Management Accounts, and Financial AccountingEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with Finance Director and stakeholdersFoster collaborative team ethos and developmentControl Environment and Continuous ImprovementCreate and maintain robust financial control environmentEnsure financial policies and procedures are current and ..... full job details .....
