Group Financial Accountant - 3-6 Month ContractChippenham Fully Onsite Immediate StartWe are seeking an experienced Group Financial Accountant for an initial 3-6 month assignment based on the outskirts of Chippenham.This is a technical financial accounting role suited to someone who has operated at Group Financial Accountant level and can hit the ground running with minimal support. The successful candidate must be available at short notice, have relevant experience and be able to commit fully to the assignment.Typical ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly Group management and financial accountsGroup consolidations, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliationsPreparation of year-end statutory accounts and supporting schedulesBalance sheet reconciliations and detailed review of control accountsPreparation of year-end audit files and liaison with external auditorsIntercompany accounting, reconciliations and resolution of discrepanciesFixed asset accounting and depreciationAccruals, prepayments, provisions and other month-end journalsSupporting the Group Finance team with ad hoc technical accounting projectsAbout YouYou will be a technically strong and commercially aware accountant with proven experience in a similar Group Financial Accountant position.
