Group Financial AccountantCambridge (2 days in the office)12 Month Fixed-Term Contract 60,000 - 65,000 Our client is a highly respected international organisation seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to join their Group Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working within a collaborative, high-performing finance function, taking ownership of group reporting, statutory accounts, technical accounting and financial control in a complex, multi-entity environment.Working alongside an experienced finance leadership team, you''ll play a key role in ensuring accurate month-end reporting, supporting statutory reporting requirements and providing technical accounting expertise across the business. You''ll also have the opportunity to contribute to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly group consolidation journals and support the group reporting process.- Produce statutory financial statements and supporting disclosures.- Deliver technical accounting guidance, including the application of IFRS.- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and month-end reporting.- Support both internal and external audit processes, providing accurate and timely information.- Research complex accounting matters and provide practical recommendations.- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and the wider business.- ..... full job details .....
