Office based role ( north oxford)daily rate on offerQualified Accountant requiredInterim Financial Accountant - 3 Month ContractLocation: Near Oxford - Office BasedHours: Full-time or Part-timeContract: 3 months initially We are looking for an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to support a business near Oxford for an initial three-month assignment. This is an office-based role and can be structured on either a full-time or part-time basis. The role will focus primarily on statutory reporting, corporation tax support, RandD tax credits and strengthening the year-end balance sheet position. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102.Review and support the FY25 balance sheet, including investigating and resolving any areas requiring further work.Assess and work with the existing balance sheet schedules, improving or rebuilding supporting schedules where necessary.Provide supporting financial data for corporation tax returns.Work with external advisors on the preparation and submission of the FY25 RandD Tax Credit claim.Prepare and provide supporting data for the current financial year as required.Help establish clear and robust balance sheet support where a formal balance sheet reconciliation pack is not currently in place.Ensure financial information and supporting documentation are accurate, complete and appropriately evidenced.
