Interim Financial AccountantStroud Interim Competitive Day Rate Approx. 6 Months The CompanyOur client is a well-established business based in Stroud with a turnover of circa £110+ million. They are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to support the finance team, with a particular focus on statutory accounts. The RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a growing, commercially-minded finance function on an interim basis. Key responsibilities will include: Preparation of statutory accounts in line with relevant accounting standards Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors Ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger review Supporting month-end close processes as required Working closely with the wider finance team on ad hoc projects and reporting About You Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience Proven experience preparing statutory accounts, ideally within a business of similar scale Strong technical accounting knowledge and up-to-date with UK GAAP/FRS 102 Confident communicator, able to work with auditors and stakeholders across the business Available to start on short notice / immediately If you''re an experienced Financial Accountant looking for your next interim challenge, apply now or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
