Interim Financial Accountant (Charities) - Part-Time Contract Rate: £400-£425 per day Commitment: 3 days per week (with flexibility for additional days during audit periods) Location: London-based organisation, with significant flexibility and fully remote working available for the right candidate An established charitable organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to provide additional technical accounting support during the preparation and audit of multiple charity statutory accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accountant with strong charity sector experience who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of complex financial reporting deliverables. The Role Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you will take responsibility for preparing statutory financial statements for a portfolio of charitable entities, ensuring compliance with FRS 102, the Charities SORP, and relevant legislation. You will work closely with finance colleagues across several entities and play a key role in supporting the external audit process through to completion. Alongside core financial reporting responsibilities, there will be opportunities to contribute to improvements in financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks.
