Interim Financial Accountant - 12 month

Charity People have partnered with The Royal College of Pharmacy to help find a technically strong Financial Accountant. This is a pivotal period of organisation during a period of change and transformation. Working closely with an exceptional Interim Financial Controller, you will play a key role in financial reporting, tax compliance, systems development and strengthening financial controls as the organisation transitions to a new charitable structure. Candidates applying for this role must have charity experience. Salary: £58,000 - £65,000 per annum Location: Tower Hill Hybrid: Once a week Duties and Responsibilities Support monthly, year-end and statutory financial reporting processes. Manage VAT, Gift Aid, Corporation Tax and other taxation requirements. Review and strengthen balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls. Assist with audit activities and consolidated group accounting. Develop finance systems, procedures and SORP-compliant reporting frameworks. Working closely with the Financial Controller to lead the audit Person Specification Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Strong financial accounting experience within a medium-sized organisation or group. Knowledge of Charities SORP, consolidations and charity taxation.
