Financial Accountant - Banking

Qualified or QBE Financial Accountant is required to support a finance function within a regulated banking environment, covering regulatory reporting, financial accounting, tax compliance and financial statements. The role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and is the number 2 in the finance team. Client DetailsUK Branch of an International Bank, offices in the City of London (Liverpool Street).DescriptionPrepare financial accounting information and regulatory submissions.Support reporting requirements for UK financial regulators.Assist with corporation tax and VAT preparation and submissions.Produce daily PandL reporting, analysis and commentary.Prepare financial statements and support external audits.Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.Investigate accounting queries and resolve issues with stakeholders.Contribute to finance projects, process improvements and documentation updates.
