Interim Finance Director

Axon Moore are supporting a well-established education organisation in the appointment of an Interim Finance Director. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to provide strategic financial leadership, ensure robust financial management, and oversee key operational functions across the organisation. The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include: Leading the strategic and day-to-day financial management of the organisation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirementsPreparing annual budgets, long-term financial forecasts and monthly management accounts to support effective decision makingProducing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, funding agreements and governance frameworksProviding financial advice and business partnering support to the Senior Leadership Team and Governors, including presenting at Finance and Risk Committee and Board meetingsLeading and developing the Finance Team, ensuring effective financial controls, payroll oversight and efficient financial operationsManaging procurement, contract management and value for money across key supplier relationships, including outsourced service contractsLeading the organisation''s internal scrutiny programme, risk management processes and financial governance framework The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ..... full job details .....
