Interim Finance Business Partner

HW Finance is partnering with a growing organisation in York to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner to join their team on an initial 6-month assignment.This role offers strong potential for extension or even a permanent opportunity for the right individual.As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of business strategy by providing strong financial leadership, governance, insight, and constructive challenge. You''ll enable stakeholders to make informed, value-driven decisions while supporting the organisation''s wider mission.You''ll also work closely with Group Services, contributing to budgeting, forecasting, month-end processes, and overseeing financial reporting, ledger integrity, and investment activity.Day to day, this role will look like: Work in partnership with the organisation''s stakeholders to identify and understand business issues, risks and financial information needs and provide insight that will add value to the business area. Act as a primary contact for finance issues arising in the designated business area(s); providing technical and financial advice and acting as a Finance representative on internal committees and project groups as required. Provide the accounting support to the financial and investment teams, ensuring transactions, portfolio balances and fees are accurately recorded and reported.
