They require an experienced IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to work on a contract basis for an initial 3 months period with the potential to extend.Job DescriptionThis 3rd Line IT Infrastructure Engineer role will have considerable responsibility across both high-level support.Working as part of a very talented team of IT professionals, within an ITIL environment, supporting core infrastructure for a large-scale business.Predominantly Microsoft based, with a server estate running Windows Server 2016 to 2019, and VMware.You will have extensive responsibilities around Citrix and Active Directory at a 3rd Line level, covering areas such as DHCP, DNS and Group Policies.While the business has an established IT function which includes a designated Network team, you will also branch into areas such as LAN/WAN and TCP/IP support.The Successful ApplicantWindows 7/8/10Windows Server (ideally through to 2019)VMwareActive Directory – DHCP, DNS, Group PolicyCitrixNetworking – LAN, WAN, TCP/IPTelephony System Support (preferably Cisco)ITILThis role can be offered both inside and outside of IR35.
