Technical Support Team Lead | Wymondham | £40k | Automotive TechnologyLead from the front with a hands-on approach in a high-impact technical role. We are looking for a Lead Technical Support Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems hands-on while leading and developing a small support team. You will take ownership of technical support across our systems used by leading automotive and motorsport organisations. This role combines real technical depth with leadership and offers the opportunity to grow into a customer-facing or product development position in the future.Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership by taking an active hands-on role in investigating and resolving customer issuesOwn the planning and prioritisation of the support team’s workload in collaboration with project and commercial teamsAct as a subject matter expert across IT systems, networks and mechanical systemsDevelop and coach support technicians to improve skills and deliver consistently excellent outcomesImprove processes, documentation and support delivery across the boardQualifications

A proven track record in a senior or lead technical support roleHands-on experience with ticketing systems and case managementStrong cross-disciplinary troubleshooting skills across IT, network and mechanical systemsAt least five years in a support-focused technical environment with direct customer interactionA proactive mindset and desire to solve problems at the root cause levelAn interest in automotive, motorsport or simulation technologies is highly desirableBenefits
