Infrastructure Engineer Birmingham (Hybrid - 3/4 days onsite) Outside IR35 £350-£400 p/d 6 Months (initially) Cisco / Networking / Infrastructure We''re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across network and server environments. This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer with strong Cisco networking knowledge and experience troubleshooting, maintaining and improving infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Support, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network and infrastructure environments. Configure and support Cisco networking equipment, including routers and switches. Troubleshootnetwork connectivity issues across LAN/WAN environments Work with TCP/IP, routing, switching and network configuration. Support infratructure upgrades, migrations, deployments and hardware refreshers. Assist with the maintenance and optimisation of server and wider IT infrastructure. investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents, identifying root causes and implementing fixes. Key Skills: Proven experience as an Infrastructure engineer or in a similar hands-on technical role. Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including routers and switches. Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching and network troubleshooting. Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure across network and server environments.
