Infrastructure Engineer

ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider and are assisting them with the search for a Infrastructure Engineer on a contract basis. This is a contract that is inside IR35 and is based on-site 3x days a week in the city of London.

• Provide senior-level 3rd line support across a fully cloud-based infrastructure.
  
• Manage, maintain, and optimise Microsoft & Wintel environments.
  
• Support and enhance infrastructure and platform services (IaaS & PaaS).
  
• Implement, manage, and troubleshoot Intune, Mimecast, Cisco solutions.
  
• Work with Azure and Palo Alto technologies, ensuring best practice configurations.
  
• Support migration and integration of reporting functions into Google Cloud.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and drive continuous improvements.
  

• Proven experience as a Senior 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer.
  
• Strong Microsoft & Wintel background.
  
• Hands-on experience with Intune, Mimecast, Cisco.
  
• Solid understanding of IaaS & PaaS.
  
• Azure experience essential; Palo Alto experience highly desirable.
  
• Experience in cloud-only environments.
  
• Knowledge of Google Cloud reporting tools advantageous.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
