Information Technology Analyst

THE ROLE
As the IT Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases
Perform system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Identify and document defects and work closely with IT and extended teams to ensure resolution.
Collaborate with business users to define test scenarios based on business requirements.
Maintain clear and concise testing documentation, including test scripts and summary reports.
Provide 2nd/3rdLine Application Support as required
Validate fixes and enhancements before release to production environments.
Provide support during system and project implementations, including validation activities, migration and user training.
Help manage issues and change requests through to resolution
Work with the wider IT team on internal improvement projects and small changes
The role will require additional duties within the IT department, as and when required, to ensure the efficient running of the department or business area.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented IT professional with the below knowledge and skills.
Experience in Software testing and Quality assurance in a business IT environment.
Experience in Software Testing techniques.
Experience with SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured testing procedures.
Proven ability to create epics, user stories, test cases, and technical documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Familiarity with documenting business processes and functional specifications.
Experience of data validation techniques and working with test data.
STQB or similar testing certification.
Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
