Information Governance Lead

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Professional Regulatory Body in their search for an Information Governance Lead to join their Corporate Services team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting organisational compliance, governance and risk management within a small, collaborative and purpose-driven environment.In this varied role, you will support the organisation to meet its statutory and non-statutory responsibilities across information governance, data protection and risk management. You will coordinate core governance processes, including managing FOI requests, Subject Access Requests and corporate complaints, ensuring responses are handled efficiently, accurately and within required timeframes.You will also play a central role in maintaining and monitoring risk registers, supporting risk reporting and contributing to wider assurance processes. Alongside this, you will support records management and document retention practices, maintain governance records for audit purposes, and contribute to the review and development of corporate policies.This is a hands-on, operational role with broad exposure across governance, offering the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the organisation.
