Industrial Relations Lead
National infrastructure business that plays a critical role in the delivery and operation of the country''s most significant transport programmes. A market leader that has grown via organic and acquisitive means. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, as the Senior Industrial Relations expert, you will have the opportunity to review the current IR framework and set the tone for how the company operates in IR. As you lead the IR strategy, you will partner internally with SLT, generalist HR and several recognised TU''s. You will lead on multiple collective bargaining agreements, address legacy TandC''s and support major organisational change programmes. You will deal with complex issues on site, notably including working patterns. Your population is concentrated in two London-based sites as well as a site in the Midlands and the North. This IR Lead role requires technical expertise, excellent relationship building skills and an appetite to develop and own an IR agenda. The successful IR Manager will be skilled in working effectively with multiple unions and be well versed in collective bargaining agreements. Specific skills in pay negotiations, shift allowances and working agreements are required. Given the opportunity to really lead and deliver the IR agenda, to be successful in this role, you will be motivated to really own an IR agenda in a complex, highly unionised environment.
