In-House Lawyer

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Professional Regulatory Body in their search for an In-House Lawyer to join their Legal team on an interim basis, with potential longer-term opportunities.This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Lawyer looking for a varied in-house position, providing practical and solutions-focused legal advice across a broad range of corporate matters. While the role offers exposure to areas including Data Protection, Employment Law, Corporate Governance and Complaints, the immediate priority will be supporting the organisation across commercial contracts and procurement.Sitting within a specialist Business Support Legal team, you will work alongside Senior Lawyers and a Paralegal to provide legal advice across the organisation. The formal remit covers both contentious and non-contentious matters affecting the organisation as a public body and employer, including commercial contracts and procurement, risk, governance, data protection, equality and employment law. A significant part of the role will involve the legal review of contracts, supporting procurement activity and providing practical advice throughout the contracting process.
