Position: IMS Core EngineerLocation: Reading and customer offices as requiredSalary: On ApplicationDuration: OngoingHours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pmOverview of an IMS Core EngineerAs an IMS Core Engineer, you will provide technical expertise across IMS Core, MCX, VoLTE, LTE and TETRA, supporting testing, troubleshooting and delivery. You''ll work closely with RandD, customers and partners to deliver projects to deliver secure, reliable mission critical solutions.Responsibilities of an IMS Core Engineer• Lead functional, performance and end-to-end testing across IMS, LTE and TETRA.• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root-cause analysis.• Manage upgrades, regression and lifecycle testing of VNF/VMware Core solutions.• Use tools to analyse network traces, system logs and performance data.• Manage test progress, defects, technical reports and customer issues.Key Competencies of an IMS Core Engineer• Strong experience in IMS Core, IMS Voice/Video/Data and VoLTE.• Good knowledge of LTE, TETRA, 3GPP and Mission Critical technologies.• Experience with tools including Wireshark, IXIA, Viavi, Spirent, XCAL, XCAP and QXDM.• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.• Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.• Willingness to support on-call and travel to customer locations when required.Benefits: • Generous holiday entitlement, plus additional birthday leave and bank holidays.• Staff sales discount, Reward Plus shopping discount, and volunteering ..... full job details .....
